Favila Villalcazar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Malvin Morales who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 22ndth minute tested the skills of Manuel Antonio Caballero when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 25th minute Nazario Fuente shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manuel Antonio Caballero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Manuel Antonio Caballero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Octavio Quintero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Amancio Serena didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Matxin Zárate went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. 33 minutes into the game, Eduardo Ponce De Leon cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Amancio Serena was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Amancio Serena showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matxin Zárate, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Amancio Serena showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matxin Zárate in the 39th minute of the match. In the 40th minute of the match, Malvin Morales got a very nice opportunity to score, but Manuel Antonio Caballero was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The supporters of Gatomatik Hospitalet booed when República was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Walme Vidal didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Gatomatik Hospitalet's Balesio Olmos tried to score from far away in the 64th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Gatomatik Hospitalet's Amancio Serena proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save Gatomatik Hospitalet from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, República's Walme Vidal got a free kick in the 72nd minute. In the 73rd minute Balesio Olmos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manuel Antonio Caballero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfredo Brejnebøl in the 78th minute of play forced Gatomatik Hospitalet's goalkeeper Amancio Serena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. República's Manuel Antonio Caballero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Octavio Quintero in the 79th minute of play.
