Evangelista Zurica was slow to take the kick. During this time Murcia City's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Murcia City's Evangelista Zurica to fire away a dangerous shot which Narciso Aznar despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 23 minutes into the game, Fryderyk Kapera cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Sofronio Solano was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 29th minute Siro Ruiz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Narciso Aznar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Old Olympians FC booed when Murcia City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Octavio Freire didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Fryderyk Kapera fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Old Olympians FC's protests and gave Fryderyk Kapera a yellow card for diving instead. In the 31st minute, Fryderyk Kapera hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 34 minutes into the match, Murcia City's goalkeeper Sofronio Solano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fryderyk Kapera. If Adán Yeste had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fryderyk Kapera who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 37thth minute tested the skills of Sofronio Solano when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 38th minute, Old Olympians FC's Quintan Vera ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Sofronio Solano. Sofronio Solano yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Pacho Quiroga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Sofronio Solano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fryderyk Kapera received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Sofronio Solano came out and tried to block the shot, but Fryderyk Kapera slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 47th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

If Fryderyk Kapera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sofronio Solano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fryderyk Kapera in the 57th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Murcia City's zone, Adán Yeste stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sofronio Solano came out of the goal and Adán Yeste tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fryderyk Kapera blasted a shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sofronio Solano having to make a save. When Pacho Quiroga came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Old Olympians FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pacho Quiroga couldn't finish the play. If Fryderyk Kapera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 64 minutes into the match, Murcia City's goal looked a bit too open when Fryderyk Kapera came free, but Sofronio Solano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pacho Quiroga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 66th minute Adán Yeste suffered a knee injury and had to be helped off the field. When Ildefonso Castan fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Murcia City's protests and gave Ildefonso Castan a yellow card for diving instead. Old Olympians FC's Toli De la Rosa was substituted for Adán Yeste. After a rather tough play, Murcia City's Ildefonso Castan got a free kick in the 68th minute. If Fryderyk Kapera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sofronio Solano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fryderyk Kapera in the 81st minute of play. Sofronio Solano stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Primo Reyes's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. 83 minutes in the game, Fryderyk Kapera dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. After 83 minutes of play, Old Olympians FC's Quintan Vera made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sofronio Solano was left in no man's land by his defense there! Sofronio Solano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fryderyk Kapera in the 89th minute of play. Fryderyk Kapera fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sofronio Solano having to interfere. Santiago Puig kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. After 95 played minutes Murcia City got a freekick which was hit by Min Gonzalvez. There was no doubt that Old Olympians FC were the better team. Old Olympians FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
