A collision led to PANTERA NEGRA getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Luke Ribas hit a great ball. After 14 played minutes Atlético de Sagunto got a freekick which was hit by Marc Cucurull. Joachim Macías made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Grant Cabezon in the 17th minute of play. 24 minutes into the game, Grant Cabezon cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Joachim Macías was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After having played for 36 minutes, Saverio Avila managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Atlético de Sagunto's supporters crossed their fingers, but Saverio Avila was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Grant Cabezon struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Joachim Macías didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Atlético de Sagunto. Asdrubal Prieto might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Joachim Macías. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Asdrubal Prieto ran back to his position shaking his head. Joachim Macías showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Asdrubal Prieto, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. In the 43rd minute Grant Cabezon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joachim Macías saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Claus Macia kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. The PANTERA NEGRA players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Atlético de Sagunto were winning 0-1.

Atlético de Sagunto made a substitution. Karlo Fuster replaced Grant Cabezon. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fabiano Tatangelo to make the kick off. Karlo Fuster could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Joachim Macías made a huge save. Asdrubal Prieto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Joachim Macías read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. Zenon Suarez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabiano Tatangelo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. PANTERA NEGRA's Román Garrido was substituted for Fabiano Tatangelo. After 62 minutes Atlético de Sagunto's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Benjamin Abancens who took care of the corner kick. Benjamin Abancens made a great header on PANTERA NEGRA's corner, it was just that Atlético de Sagunto's Zenon Suarez managed to reach the ball for a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Asdrubal Prieto in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joachim Macías prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A hard shot 68 in the game by Karlo Fuster from a close distance when the talented Joachim Macías managed to make a qualified save. PANTERA NEGRA's players were relieved. Joachim Macías took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Asdrubal Prieto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Asdrubal Prieto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Asdrubal Prieto in the 73rd minute of play forced PANTERA NEGRA's goalkeeper Joachim Macías to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the PANTERA NEGRA defense, Asdrubal Prieto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Joachim Macías. The PANTERA NEGRA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Joachim Macías should have stopped the shot. PANTERA NEGRA's Benigno Ramis was substituted for Luke Ribas. The crowd rose to their feet as Asdrubal Prieto kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Joachim Macías. That made the score 0-3 in the 80 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Asdrubal Prieto in the 87th minute of play forced PANTERA NEGRA's goalkeeper Joachim Macías to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zenon Suarez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benigno Ramis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match was over Atlético de Sagunto could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than PANTERA NEGRA throughout the match.
