The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A throw-in in the 12th minute of the game was made by Víctor Muelas with Gabino Solano as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. 14 minutes into the match, JubiladosPlayasdeMalagaFS's goal looked a bit too open when Rufo Palomares came free, but Tino Casal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 17th minute Rufo Palomares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tino Casal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 18 minutes had been played when some careless play by JubiladosPlayasdeMalagaFS's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Fagondo Coello was slow to take the kick. During this time CerKeteam's players had a chance to rest. Víctor Muelas made in the 24th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Gabino Solano. Tino Casal came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by CerKeteam's Oriche Diez. But to his dismay, Oriche Diez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind CerKeteam's goalkeeper Adolfo Paris, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 33 minutes CerKeteam's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Vincente Iraegui who took care of the corner kick. In the 37th minute Rufo Palomares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tino Casal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alejandro Folch in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Adolfo Paris prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Alejandro Folch sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hans Reints to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabino Solano in the 55th minute of play forced JubiladosPlayasdeMalagaFS's goalkeeper Tino Casal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alejandro Folch in the 62nd minute of play forced CerKeteam's goalkeeper Adolfo Paris to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. JubiladosPlayasdeMalagaFS were awarded a corner in the 65th minute after CerKeteam's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Vincente Iraegui took the corner. The corner led JubiladosPlayasdeMalagaFS's Vincente Iraegui to fire away a dangerous shot which Adolfo Paris despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When JubiladosPlayasdeMalagaFS's Alejandro Folch in the 70th minute got a chance for a shot 70th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye CerKeteam's goalie prevented a goal. Víctor Muelas's late challenge caught a JubiladosPlayasdeMalagaFS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Víctor Muelas helped the player get up and apologised. 75 minutes into the match, JubiladosPlayasdeMalagaFS's Alejandro Folch sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Adolfo Paris narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 77 minutes, Jolan Leost mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the JubiladosPlayasdeMalagaFS and the CerKeteam players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 77th minute, Jolan Leost hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. JubiladosPlayasdeMalagaFS's attentive Marcel Vroom managed to snatch the ball when Víctor Muelas made a throw-in in the 79th minute of the game. After 79 played minutes CerKeteam got a freekick which was hit by Gabino Solano. After a defensive mix-up in CerKeteam's zone, Alejandro Folch stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adolfo Paris came out of the goal and Alejandro Folch tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Adolfo Paris showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sergio Odín, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Rufo Palomares's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Tino Casal firmly grabbed it by the left post. If Rufo Palomares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
