Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marcus Tuborg in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Geoffrey Jamieson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 41 minutes into the match, C.D. Mojácar Indalos's goal looked a bit too open when Marcus Tuborg came free, but Geoffrey Jamieson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to C.D. Mojácar Indalos getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Mohamed Benzine hit a great ball. Geoffrey Jamieson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aresti Gandia went, in the 46th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. After the first half Nueva Torrevieja AFC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After 95 played minutes, Nueva Torrevieja AFC's Mauricio Planes shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Geoffrey Jamieson came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Nueva Torrevieja AFC reached it.
