With a little luck, Vaccean Warriors's Dante Chapel got control of the ball when Xiao Yang Xuan tried to sneak it across the goal line. The corner ended in Telo Papo almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Club Getafe Deportivo's Jairo Castellano did a great save. When Telo Papo fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vaccean Warriors's protests and gave Telo Papo a yellow card for diving instead. Club Getafe Deportivo's Kayra Sağlık was substituted for Henrico Del Bosque. A collision led to Vaccean Warriors getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Telo Papo hit a great ball. In the 24th minute of the match, Vlad Ţăranu got a very nice opportunity to score, but Dante Chapel was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 28th minute Curcio Carballeira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Chapel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dante Chapel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Curcio Carballeira, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. When the match had gone on for 83 minutes, Xiao Yang Xuan put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Dante Chapel.
