With a little luck, Tirant lo Blanch's Kamal Pahlevi got control of the ball when Pol Petton tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jairo Montes in the 15th minute of play forced Tirant lo Blanch's goalkeeper Kamal Pahlevi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tirant lo Blanch's Kamal Pahlevi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jairo Montes in the 21st minute of play. Leonard Treppa struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Giorgio March didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tirant lo Blanch. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

56 minutes into the game, C.Atl.Torre Monreal 07's Pol Petton nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kamal Pahlevi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. In the 93rd minute Christian Almkvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kamal Pahlevi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
