The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Nis Kriswill's late challenge caught a Skovlunde FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nis Kriswill helped the player get up and apologised. Nis Kriswill kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. Bert Plougstrup fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aleks Brodorf having to interfere. After 11 minutes, Jannik Draslov mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tjørnholm and the Skovlunde FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Jannik Draslov kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. In the 16th minute, Teodor Grænse made a precise shot to the right of Aleks Brodorf. Tjørnholm's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 24th minute, Kield Søeby hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aleks Brodorf took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jørgen Id, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 36 minutes into the match, Tjørnholm's goal looked a bit too open when Jørgen Id came free, but Aleks Brodorf reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind Tjørnholm's goalkeeper Aleks Brodorf, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Nis Eriksson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Zacharias Sindhøj tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Laus Lindrup in the 46th minute of play forced Skovlunde FC's goalkeeper Zacharias Sindhøj to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Skovlunde FC's Zacharias Sindhøj proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 48th minute of the match, managed to save Skovlunde FC from getting a goal against them. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Laus Lindrup to make the kick off. Laus Lindrup struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Zacharias Sindhøj didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tjørnholm. Zacharias Sindhøj made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nis Eriksson in the 57th minute of play. 62 minutes into the game, Laus Lindrup cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Zacharias Sindhøj was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Skovlunde FC's Werner Bregnbak got a free kick in the 65th minute. If Laus Lindrup had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 69 minutes into the match, Laus Lindrup had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zacharias Sindhøj. Skovlunde FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Laus Lindrup was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Jørgen Id sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bert Plougstrup's late challenge caught a Tjørnholm's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bert Plougstrup helped the player get up and apologised. 78 minutes into the match, Nis Eriksson notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Skovlunde FC's Zacharias Sindhøj. Zacharias Sindhøj was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Laus Lindrup had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nis Eriksson in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zacharias Sindhøj prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 92 played minutes Skovlunde FC got a freekick which was hit by Werner Bregnbak. For all the effort they put into the match, the Skovlunde FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Tjørnholm.
