Hauge Sinkar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hækkebølle's supporters crossed their fingers, but Torbjørn Høgelund was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thorkil Kjenslie could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Niko Brændgaard made a huge save. After 44 played minutes Birket AC got a freekick which was hit by Leonhard Riborg. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Torbjørn Høgelund made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 52 minutes, Viggo Roldsgaard managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. After some careless play in the Hækkebølle defense, Kent Sigurdson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Niko Brændgaard. The Hækkebølle fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Niko Brændgaard should have stopped the shot. Hauge Sinkar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Torbjørn Høgelund in the 66th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thorkil Kjenslie in the 90th minute of play forced Hækkebølle's goalkeeper Niko Brændgaard to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Niko Brændgaard showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kent Sigurdson in the 96th minute of the match.
