Rikki Valkov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gynther Leick, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sigfrid Gandanga hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Gynther Leick fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rikki Valkov having to interfere. The supporters of Hammel booed when Hellerup AC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aksel Nederborg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Valter Sandbøl in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Peer Bredo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hammel's goalkeeper Peer Bredo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. August Løjstrup received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Rikki Valkov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 79 minutes, Rikardt Bjørnskjold mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hellerup AC and the Hammel players grew even worse after the yellow card. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, August Løjstrup managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hammel's supporters rose to their feet, but August Løjstrup was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rikki Valkov breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Hellerup AC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
