When Nöbbölle FV's Tyge Falkengaard in the 5th minute got a chance for a shot 5th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The supporters of Nöbbölle FV booed when Fårup FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Svenne Rehders didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Ewald Darling kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Piotr Banholdt. That made the score 1-0 in the 27 minute of play. In the 38th minute Ewald Darling shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Piotr Banholdt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lynge Ilving hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Ewald Darling's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Piotr Banholdt read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. Torbjørn Hørving's late challenge caught a Fårup FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Torbjørn Hørving helped the player get up and apologised. With a little luck, Nöbbölle FV's Piotr Banholdt got control of the ball when Freddie Bogetoft tried to sneak it across the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tyge Falkengaard to make the kick off. When Marthin Hørving fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fårup FC's protests and gave Marthin Hørving a yellow card for diving instead. In the 51st match minute, Fårup FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marthin Hørving to maneuver through the defense. In the 60th minute, Freddie Bogetoft made a precise shot to the right of Piotr Banholdt. Nöbbölle FV's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. When the match clock showed 68 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Marthin Hørving sped through Nöbbölle FV's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Piotr Banholdt. Ewald Darling received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Piotr Banholdt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Freddie Bogetoft in the 77th minute of play forced Nöbbölle FV's goalkeeper Piotr Banholdt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 88 minutes of play, Fårup FC's Ewald Darling made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Piotr Banholdt was left in no man's land by his defense there! Fårup FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
