Rønnebjerg's Gerhart Kurup proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save Rønnebjerg from getting a goal against them. 7 minutes into the match, Visti Hauerbach had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gerhart Kurup. Rønnebjerg's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Visti Hauerbach was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Owe Hellinghus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ernst Løgholt having to interfere. In the 17th minute, Kristian Nørlov sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Moeskær's Ernst Løgholt didn't even have to move. Visti Hauerbach received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Gerhart Kurup tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Moeskær's Ernst Løgholt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Owe Hellinghus in the 24th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Owe Hellinghus in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ernst Løgholt saved Moeskær from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Rønnebjerg's zone, Bendt Høyberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gerhart Kurup came out of the goal and Bendt Høyberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ronnie Bosendal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bendt Høyberg in the 46th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gerhart Kurup prevented the ball from getting in the gole. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Gerhart Kurup showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bendt Høyberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Owe Hellinghus recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Visti Hauerbach sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gerhart Kurup made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bendt Høyberg in the 84th minute of play. If Owe Hellinghus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to Moeskær getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Sigvardt Myrdahl hit a great ball. In the 96th minute Bendt Høyberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gerhart Kurup saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Visti Hauerbach in the 98th minute of play forced Rønnebjerg's goalkeeper Gerhart Kurup to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
