Sepp Gyldskov charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sepp Gyldskov the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 16th minute, Sepp Gyldskov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 17 minutes, Clavs Rasmusen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nyby's supporters crossed their fingers, but Clavs Rasmusen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 18th match minute, Nyby was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Freddy Rosefalk to maneuver through the defense. Detlef Mondorf struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Rikki Birkeholm didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Oddesund AC. Detlef Mondorf received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Rikki Birkeholm tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 22 minutes, Sepp Gyldskov made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Nyby's Rikki Birkeholm tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 29th minute, Detlef Mondorf got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Nyby getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Freddy Rosefalk hit a great ball. In the 40th minute Gregers Finsen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elo Fiil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Oddesund AC getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Dirk Veinberg hit a great ball. Volmer Alnøe took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Elo Fiil. Elo Fiil dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leopold Sønderfelt during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 45 played minutes Nyby got a freekick which was hit by Leopold Sønderfelt. In the 46th minute, Detlef Mondorf ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rikki Birkeholm was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. After the first half Oddesund AC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Detlef Mondorf made a kick off. Nyby's Volmer Alnøe got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Gregers Finsen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Elo Fiil showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Volmer Alnøe, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Detlef Mondorf managed to get in a good position for a shot. Oddesund AC's supporters rose to their feet, but Detlef Mondorf was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rikki Birkeholm breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 74th minute Detlef Mondorf shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rikki Birkeholm saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nyby's Rikki Birkeholm proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save Nyby from getting a goal against them. Detlef Mondorf fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rikki Birkeholm having to interfere. Freddy Rosefalk's late challenge caught a Oddesund AC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Freddy Rosefalk helped the player get up and apologised. Freddy Rosefalk kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. The Nyby supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Oddesund AC's performance. The match ended with a win for Oddesund AC.
