The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 7 played minutes Skovsgaarde AC got a freekick which was hit by Felix Bornhof. After 11 played minutes Lemb FV got a freekick which was hit by Elmar Edsby. If Bernard Bryssensdorff had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Viktor Helfred took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teis Norske, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 24th minute, Per Tonsgaard hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Åge Udgård took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 25th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Kay Revenskov. Skovsgaarde AC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Bernard Bryssensdorff struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Viktor Helfred didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Skovsgaarde AC. Tor Bretvold charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tor Bretvold the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Skovsgaarde AC booed when Lemb FV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tor Bretvold didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kenn Bornedal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Kay Revenskov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Teis Norske's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Viktor Helfred was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. After 40 played minutes Lemb FV got a freekick which was hit by Elmar Edsby. 44 minutes into the game, Kenn Bornedal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lemb FV's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Skovsgaarde AC the free kick. In the 44th match minute, Lemb FV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kenn Bornedal to maneuver through the defense. Tor Bretvold was shown his second yellow card after 47 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match.
