Emil Drostrup showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Birger Fachmann, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Birger Fachmann in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Emil Drostrup prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Moltrup's Svenaage Geisnæs got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Birger Fachmann recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Knud Rastel might have been able to make a better finish in the 22nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Emil Drostrup. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Knud Rastel ran back to his position shaking his head. If Birger Fachmann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Klaus Vestersøe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Stig Wallace tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Emil Drostrup made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Svenaage Geisnæs in the 30th minute of play. Svenaage Geisnæs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emil Drostrup having to interfere. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Svenaage Geisnæs to strike the kick off in the second half. If Birger Fachmann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Birger Fachmann in the 62ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Emil Drostrup, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. A collision led to Lystrup AC getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Ruben Damstrup hit a great ball. In the 74th minute, Benni Sangill hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Through an outstanding action, after 75 minutes, Emil Drostrup successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Moltrup's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Eckhardt Morsbo in the 76th minute. If Svenaage Geisnæs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
