The supporters of Eg booed when Kaslund was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kaslund's Tøger Rebsdorf played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeppe Hanelius in the 20th minute of play. Gregor Rich's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but William Kirktved read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. A collision led to Eg getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Egon Nendel hit a great ball. When Olle Elboth came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Kaslund fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Olle Elboth couldn't finish the play. Laus Skjøtt might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over William Kirktved. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Laus Skjøtt ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olle Elboth in the 37th minute of play forced Eg's goalkeeper William Kirktved to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Olle Elboth fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without William Kirktved having to interfere. If Laus Skjøtt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
In the 53rd minute, Jeppe Hanelius got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 55 minutes into the game, Teddi Rigtoft was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Eg's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kaslund the free kick. Teddi Rigtoft kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. If Jeppe Hanelius had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With an all-out effort, Kaslund's William Kirktved threw himself towards the right post 65 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Laus Skjøtt, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Olle Elboths short, quick shot in the 68thth minute got William Kirktved to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When Pedro Kirkeby fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kaslund's protests and gave Pedro Kirkeby a yellow card for diving instead. Pedro Kirkeby kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. In the 74th minute, Eg Derda sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Kaslund's Tøger Rebsdorf didn't even have to move. Tøger Rebsdorf made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Villiam Blomsterfoss in the 77th minute of play. After 78 minutes, Gregor Rich mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kaslund and the Eg players grew even worse after the yellow card. Gregor Rich hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Eg's zone, Laus Skjøtt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. William Kirktved came out of the goal and Laus Skjøtt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Olle Elboth fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without William Kirktved having to interfere. In the 96th minute Laus Skjøtt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but William Kirktved saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eg succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Kaslund had controlled the match.
