Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Cristian Jydegaard started the match with the kick off. Gunvald Bjergdam fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without René Mannesmann having to interfere. Cristian Jydegaard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Denis Krumlinde tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Denis Krumlinde made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carsten Ertbjerg in the 7th minute of play. 8 minutes into the match, Lyø's goal looked a bit too open when Carsten Ertbjerg came free, but Denis Krumlinde reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 14th minute Cristian Jydegaard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Denis Krumlinde saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The attack was good, but when Gunvald Bjergdam in the 18th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. René Mannesmann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gunvald Bjergdam in the 20th minute of the match. In the 35th minute Carsten Ertbjerg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Denis Krumlinde saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 37 minutes into the match, Lyø's Rainer Jarnholm sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that René Mannesmann narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gunvald Bjergdam received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. René Mannesmann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aske Nansen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Denis Krumlinde showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Jydegaard in the 46th minute of the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gunvald Bjergdam to strike the kick off in the second half. Denis Krumlinde didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Carsten Ertbjerg went, in the 57th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gunvald Bjergdam in the 61st minute of play forced Skjelby's goalkeeper René Mannesmann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Aske Nansen fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Skjelby's protests and gave Aske Nansen a yellow card for diving instead. In the 65th match minute, Skjelby was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aske Nansen to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Lyø's Denis Krumlinde got control of the ball when Carsten Ertbjerg tried to sneak it across the goal line. René Mannesmann came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by Lyø's Gunvald Bjergdam. But to his dismay, Gunvald Bjergdam quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Carsten Ertbjerg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Denis Krumlinde made a huge save. If Rainer Jarnholm had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristian Jydegaard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Denis Krumlinde tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
