Fjerupgaarde's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marc Dyrner was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hassan Trønskov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 15 minutes into the game, Eigil Adzersen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fjerupgaarde's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lyø the free kick. After 16 played minutes Fjerupgaarde got a freekick which was hit by Eigil Adzersen. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Rainer Jarnholm managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lyø's supporters rose to their feet, but Rainer Jarnholm was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mattias Eisnæs breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Lyø's Gunvald Bjergdam in 19 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Mattias Eisnæs guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Gunvald Bjergdam sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rainer Jarnholm hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. 27 minutes into the match, Fjerupgaarde's goal looked a bit too open when Gunvald Bjergdam came free, but Mattias Eisnæs reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gunner Vilcken hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Gunvald Bjergdam received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Mattias Eisnæs tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 39 minutes into the game, one of Lyø:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 44th minute Marc Dyrner shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Denis Krumlinde saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mattias Eisnæs stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gunvald Bjergdam's shot from short distance in the 48th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marc Dyrner to strike the kick off in the second half. Gunvald Bjergdam sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Hassan Trønskov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 57thth minute of the game Gunvald Bjergdam who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fjerupgaarde's Mattias Eisnæs was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 59 minutes into the game, Rainer Jarnholm lined in a short shot 1-1 behind a frustrated Mattias Eisnæs. If Rainer Jarnholm had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hassan Trønskov blasted a shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Denis Krumlinde having to make a save. In the 69th minute Marc Dyrner shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Denis Krumlinde saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 71 minutes into the game, Gunvald Bjergdam recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Mattias Eisnæs. Gunvald Bjergdam showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. Denis Krumlinde made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hassan Trønskov in the 79th minute of play. Rainer Jarnholm fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mattias Eisnæs having to interfere. After having played for 93 minutes, Rainer Jarnholm managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lyø's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rainer Jarnholm was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mattias Eisnæs made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kurd Dørffer in the 97th minute. Kurd Dørffer's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Mattias Eisnæs firmly grabbed it by the left post. Lyø's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
