Dråby's Vilmar Ørbo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save Dråby from getting a goal against them. After having played for 9 minutes, Ricky Veilegaard managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nørremark SIK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ricky Veilegaard was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Ricky Veilegaard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ricky Veilegaard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Vilmar Ørbo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Boje Vraabøl blasted a shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vilmar Ørbo having to make a save. Eilif Palslund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joseph Goldmark, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Joseph Goldmark received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Eilif Palslund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ricky Veilegaard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Vilmar Ørbo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 30th minute, Severin Lønager hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Ricky Veilegaard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. Dråby's Vilmar Ørbo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Boje Vraabøl in the 45th minute of play. The supporters of Nørremark SIK booed when Dråby was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tøger Sølje didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Boje Vraabøl to strike the kick off in the second half. The Nørremark SIK fans' excitement grew in the 77th match minute when Nørremark SIK's Boje Vraabøl looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Vilmar Ørbo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ricky Veilegaard in the 81st minute of play. In the last second Eilif Palslund throw himself and got hold of the ball when Thorleif Bernvil in the 83rdth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. In the 85th minute, one of Nørremark SIK:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Nørremark SIK. When the match had been going on for 87 minutes, Dråby's Luis Koldtoft got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Eilif Palslund. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Luis Koldtoft managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dråby's supporters rose to their feet, but Luis Koldtoft was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eilif Palslund breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
