Fritz Brohus stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Emil Jernholm's shot from short distance in the 6th minute. Mou FV's Mathæus Jersgaard played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Torben Weilbach in the 8th minute of play. Fritz Daugaard hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. 20 minutes into the game, Preben Brise was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mou FV's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lekken the free kick. Preben Brise kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Torben Weilbach recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 29 minutes into the match, Mou FV's goal looked a bit too open when Micael Jesdorf came free, but Mathæus Jersgaard reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Mou FV getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Preben Brise hit a great ball. In the 33rd minute, Gregorius Baierby sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Mou FV's Mathæus Jersgaard didn't even have to move. Torben Weilbach struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Mathæus Jersgaard didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lekken. The supporters of Lekken booed when Mou FV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sigismund Engeltoft didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 38th match minute, Lekken was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fritz Daugaard to maneuver through the defense. Fritz Daugaard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mathæus Jersgaard having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Emil Jernholm managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mou FV's supporters rose to their feet, but Emil Jernholm was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fritz Brohus breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 48th minute, Torben Weilbach made a precise shot to the right of Mathæus Jersgaard. Mou FV's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Emil Jernholm made a kick off. Fritz Brohus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Håkon Sakslund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Håkon Sakslund in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fritz Brohus saved Lekken from getting behind. In the 57th minute, Håkon Sakslund got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fritz Brohus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emil Jernholm in the 61st minute of play. In the 62nd minute, Preben Brise hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Mou FV's Mathæus Jersgaard got control of the ball when Micael Jesdorf tried to sneak it across the goal line. Torben Weilbach fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mathæus Jersgaard having to interfere. Lekken's supporters rose to their feet, but Micael Jesdorf was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mathæus Jersgaard breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lekken's Micael Jesdorf got a good chance for a goal in the 99th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match was over Lekken could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Mou FV throughout the match.
