In the 12th minute Åge Hjetting shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mauritz Ahring saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpected shot in the 14th minute by Calle Nonsted got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Wilfred Scheie took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Svenning Front, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Åge Hjetting sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Calle Nonsted got free with Wilfred Scheie in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 44 minutes into the match, Bodholt's goal looked a bit too open when Åge Hjetting came free, but Mauritz Ahring reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 46 minutes, Svenning Front managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bodholt's supporters crossed their fingers, but Svenning Front was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Herup SIK getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Terry Feldskov hit a great ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Terry Feldskov during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Herup SIK's Terry Feldskov got a free kick in the 52nd minute. The supporters of Bodholt booed when Herup SIK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mathias Sandklit didn't get a good kick on the ball. Wilfred Scheie showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Svenning Front in the 60th minute of the match. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 85 minutes into the match, Bodholt's goal looked a bit too open when Åge Hjetting came free, but Mauritz Ahring reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 89 minutes into the game, Holger Glendorf recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Mauritz Ahring. Holger Glendorf showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-1. Wilfred Scheie made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Calle Nonsted in the 92nd minute of play. Wilfred Scheie showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Calle Nonsted, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Herup SIK had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
