Bodholt's Mauritz Ahring proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Bodholt from getting a goal against them. Svenning Front fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gregers Mossfeldt having to interfere. Svenning Front received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Gregers Mossfeldt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 35 minutes, Gustav Jarland managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Melsted AC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gustav Jarland was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bodholt's Mauritz Ahring played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustav Jarland in the 37th minute of play. Bodholt's Mauritz Ahring proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Bodholt from getting a goal against them. 45 minutes into the game, Svenne Herluf was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Melsted AC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bodholt the free kick. In the 45th minute, one of Melsted AC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Melsted AC. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Svenning Front was the one to do the kick off. Gregers Mossfeldt stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Svenning Front's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Svenning Front managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bodholt's supporters rose to their feet, but Svenning Front was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gregers Mossfeldt breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 69 minutes, Gustav Jarland managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Melsted AC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gustav Jarland was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 72nd minute Svenning Front shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gregers Mossfeldt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mauritz Ahring showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustav Jarland, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. A hard shot 84 in the game by Calle Nonsted from a close distance when the talented Gregers Mossfeldt managed to make a qualified save. Melsted AC's players were relieved.
