Ørby SIK's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Aake Komind 13 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. Søren Randsted sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Caspar Stensby showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aake Komind in the 24th minute of the match. Olle Hovbank kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Lennarth Hoffenblad took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 28th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Helmer Vadsø. Holt's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Rikard Thundal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gorm Rieneck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Helmer Vadsø having to interfere. In the 35th minute, Gorm Rieneck left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ørby SIK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. In the 37th minute, Rikard Thundal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 40 minutes into the match, Gorm Rieneck notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Holt's Helmer Vadsø. Helmer Vadsø was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 44 minutes into the game, Petter Sivertsen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ørby SIK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Holt the free kick. In the 44th match minute, Ørby SIK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Petter Sivertsen to maneuver through the defense. In the 48th minute, Aake Komind got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Aake Komind to strike the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Gorm Rieneck managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ørby SIK's supporters rose to their feet, but Gorm Rieneck was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Helmer Vadsø breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Holt's defense didn't have a chance, in the 56th minute, when Gorm Rieneck scored to the left of an out of position Helmer Vadsø, making the score, 1-3. Caspar Stensby showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Svenn Krammer, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. After 62 played minutes Ørby SIK got a freekick which was hit by Rikard Thundal. In the 62nd minute of the match Svenn Krammer shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Caspar Stensby showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gorm Rieneck in the 67th minute of play forced Holt's goalkeeper Helmer Vadsø to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ørby SIK's Caspar Stensby played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aake Komind in the 75th minute of play. Holt's Søren Randsted got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 77 played minutes Ørby SIK got a freekick which was hit by Petter Sivertsen. 78 minutes into the game, Holt's Aake Komind nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Caspar Stensby made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. Søren Randsted sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Helmer Vadsø showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gorm Rieneck in the 88th minute of the match. If Aake Komind had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
