Curt Franklen hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Kenny Morild took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jannich Hegnsdal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Jannich Hegnsdal came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Vejenbrød FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jannich Hegnsdal couldn't finish the play. Mikkel Ringsgaard's late challenge caught a Vejenbrød FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mikkel Ringsgaard helped the player get up and apologised. In the 15th match minute, Lebøl was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mikkel Ringsgaard to maneuver through the defense. Marc Skytthe made an important save on a dangerous shot by Curt Franklen in the 22nd minute. Hjalmar Bodholt blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kenny Morild having to make a save. Kenny Morild showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hjalmar Bodholt, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. After 31 played minutes Lebøl got a freekick which was hit by Thorsten Kjærstrand. 34 minutes into the game, Vejenbrød FC's Hjalmar Bodholt nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kenny Morild made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Lebøl's Curt Franklen got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Marc Skytthe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tage Riaz in the 44th minute of the match. Hemming Vigsbøl charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hemming Vigsbøl the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Hemming Vigsbøl kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jannich Hegnsdal stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Hauge Gudberg fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vejenbrød FC's protests and gave Hauge Gudberg a yellow card for diving instead. After 53 played minutes Vejenbrød FC got a freekick which was hit by Hauge Gudberg. When the match clock showed 55 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Curt Franklen sped through Vejenbrød FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Marc Skytthe. Lebøl's Kenny Morild proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Lebøl from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Lebøl getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Hemming Vigsbøl hit a great ball. In the 80th minute, Vejenbrød FC's Jannich Hegnsdal dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. Jannich Hegnsdal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kenny Morild having to interfere. In the 87th match minute, Vejenbrød FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Klaudius Eibye to maneuver through the defense. It was beautiful to see Lebøl's Janich Strandmark in action when he in the 89th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! In the 91st minute, Curt Franklen left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lebøl fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. Tage Riaz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marc Skytthe having to interfere. In the 97th minute Curt Franklen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marc Skytthe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Vejenbrød FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
