After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Waldemar Bøtcher managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sminge FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Waldemar Bøtcher was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Therkil Munthe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Therkil Munthe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teis Højgrav in the 13th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Sminge FC's zone, Casper Löwenstein stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Loui Cornett came out of the goal and Casper Löwenstein tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kresten Lockey in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Loui Cornett prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 23 minutes into the match, Bolmerod SIK's goal looked a bit too open when Teis Højgrav came free, but Therkil Munthe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 27 played minutes Sminge FC got a freekick which was hit by Gunther Poulsen. Casper Löwenstein blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Loui Cornett having to make a save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Erhardt Sneedorff during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Erhardt Sneedorff kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. In the 36th minute Casper Löwenstein shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Loui Cornett saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Erhardt Sneedorff was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 67 minutes had been played. After 68 played minutes Bolmerod SIK got a freekick which was hit by Erhardt Sneedorff. The audience was convinced that Teis Højgrav's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Therkil Munthe was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. Godtfred Brunby hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Casper Löwenstein sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out.
