In the 2nd minute, Christian Parnset hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 5th minute Walther Doktor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Milton Kokbo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Malling FC's Milton Kokbo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Walther Doktor in the 7th minute of play. When Klement Molders fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Haarup FC's protests and gave Klement Molders a yellow card for diving instead. In the 13th match minute, Haarup FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Klement Molders to maneuver through the defense. In the 14th match minute, Haarup FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Klement Molders to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Haarup FC's Walther Doktor slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Milton Kokbo. That made the score 2-0 after 22 minutes of play. Malling FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Walther Doktor 28 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 3-0. Haarup FC's Mattæus Fendhardt got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Torben Hvidsgaard's late challenge caught a Malling FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Torben Hvidsgaard helped the player get up and apologised. In the 41st match minute, Haarup FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Torben Hvidsgaard to maneuver through the defense. Benni Lyckemoes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulo Løhren in the 43rd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mattæus Fendhardt got free with Milton Kokbo in the 48th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Arne Vadskjær was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Haarup FC booed when Malling FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Torben Emmer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Haarup FC's Benni Lyckemoes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arne Vadskjær in the 57th minute of play. 59 minutes had been played when some careless play by Haarup FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Elo Vaarskov was slow to take the kick. During this time Malling FC's players had a chance to rest. Paulo Løhren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benni Lyckemoes having to interfere. Walther Doktor recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind Malling FC's goalkeeper Milton Kokbo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Haarup FC booed when Malling FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Torben Emmer didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 94th minute Arne Vadskjær shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benni Lyckemoes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benni Lyckemoes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arne Vadskjær, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. For all the effort they put into the match, the Malling FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Haarup FC.
