Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Miklos Rehberg started the match with the kick off. If Miklos Rehberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Stabæk's Leonard Felsby played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miklos Rehberg in the 4th minute of play. Ib Lykkegård's late challenge caught a Åbling FV's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ib Lykkegård helped the player get up and apologised. In the 5th minute, Ib Lykkegård hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 7 played minutes Stabæk got a freekick which was hit by Louie Vinnergaard. Joseph Grip was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 8th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Miklos Rehberg scored 0-1 in the 10th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Leonard Felsby, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 14th minute, Ernst Borkhardt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. August Gerres kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. 21 minutes into the match, Åbling FV's goalkeeper Klement Sandgrav had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Joachim Valhøj. After 22 played minutes Åbling FV got a freekick which was hit by August Gerres. Ernst Borkhardt received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Klement Sandgrav came out and tried to block the shot, but Ernst Borkhardt slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 28th minute. In the 31st minute Miklos Rehberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonard Felsby saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Nichlas Dehn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of Åbling FV booed when Stabæk was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ib Lykkegård didn't get a good kick on the ball. Miklos Rehberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nichlas Dehn struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Leonard Felsby didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Åbling FV. In the 44th minute Miklos Rehberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonard Felsby saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Joachim Valhøj got free with Klement Sandgrav in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ernst Borkhardt to strike the kick off in the second half. Leonard Felsby took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miklos Rehberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Stabæk's Ib Lykkegård got a free kick in the 64th minute. Joachim Valhøj sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Nichlas Dehn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ernst Borkhardt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Leonard Felsby took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miklos Rehberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Joachim Valhøj came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Stabæk fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joachim Valhøj couldn't finish the play. Klement Sandgrav showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ernst Borkhardt, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Joachim Valhøj fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Klement Sandgrav having to interfere. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
