Henry Lystlund scored 0-1 in the 5th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Leonard Felsby, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Henry Lystlund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ernst Borkhardt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Einer Fresner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leonard Felsby stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Harald Tæhring's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. Leonard Felsby showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Harald Tæhring, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Einer Fresner was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ernst Borkhardt showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 32 minute of play. With a little luck, Egebjærg's Einer Fresner got control of the ball when Joachim Valhøj tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 41 minutes, Tommy Bringsted mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Stabæk and the Egebjærg players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Egebjærg booed when Stabæk was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tommy Bringsted didn't get a good kick on the ball. Joachim Valhøj blasted a shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Einer Fresner having to make a save.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Harald Tæhring was the one to do the kick off. Ernst Borkhardt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Einer Fresner having to interfere. After 57 played minutes Egebjærg got a freekick which was hit by Thejs Kragballe. Einer Fresner showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joachim Valhøj in the 64th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Egebjærg defense, Ernst Borkhardt kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Einer Fresner. The Egebjærg fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Einer Fresner should have stopped the shot. Henry Lystlund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonard Felsby having to interfere. Harald Tæhring sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 77 played minutes Stabæk got a freekick which was hit by Tommy Bringsted. If Henry Lystlund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. Stabæk's Leonard Felsby played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Harald Tæhring in the 85th minute of play. Thejs Kragballe recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Stabæk were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Egebjærg for a fine match.
