In the 10th minute, Ernst Kirkemand hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Al Slavensky came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Ris fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Al Slavensky couldn't finish the play. Folmer Berkich made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Ris's Karlo Klinck got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Folmer Berkich made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olfert Gausby in the 53rd minute of play. After 53 minutes, Janus Solhuus mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ris and the Ovtved SIK players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 54th match minute, Ris was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Janus Solhuus to maneuver through the defense. Melkior Jørdahl scored 3-1 in the 55th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Folmer Berkich, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Mickey Trojaborg hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Olfert Gausby received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Folmer Berkich tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Benny Strickertson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tor Neilsen having to interfere. Olfert Gausby recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Einar Overhaven had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 76 minutes into the game, Olfert Gausby cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Folmer Berkich was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Folmer Berkich showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Melkior Jørdahl in the 79th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Ris's Svenåge Avnegaard got a free kick in the 80th minute. When Olfert Gausby came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Ovtved SIK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Olfert Gausby couldn't finish the play. Karlo Klinck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 86 minutes in the game, Karlo Klinck fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Tor Neilsen having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Olfert Gausby managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ovtved SIK's supporters rose to their feet, but Olfert Gausby was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Folmer Berkich breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
