In the 9thth minute of the game Bert Stanczuk who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gejlbjærg FV's Ricky Tveede was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 11 played minutes Vestergaard FC got a freekick which was hit by Nikolai Jagre. Fabian Axgil's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 14thth minute, Ulrik Skærbak skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. If Fabian Axgil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Justin Geisner fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ulrik Skærbak having to interfere. Vestergaard FC's Ulrik Skærbak proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Vestergaard FC from getting a goal against them. Ulrik Skærbak made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Fabian Axgil sent off a good shot on target. If Fabian Axgil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nikolai Jagre took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 32nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ricky Tveede. Gejlbjærg FV's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Gejlbjærg FV's zone, Bert Stanczuk stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ricky Tveede came out of the goal and Bert Stanczuk tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Bert Stanczuk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 42nd minute, Justin Geisner got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, Vestergaard FC's Ulrik Skærbak got control of the ball when Fabian Axgil tried to sneak it across the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Justin Geisner to make the kick off. In the 54th minute Fabian Axgil shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ulrik Skærbak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Fabian Axgil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 60th minute, Justin Geisner made a precise shot to the right of Ulrik Skærbak. Vestergaard FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mortimer Cady got free with Ricky Tveede in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ricky Tveede stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bert Stanczuk's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. When Bert Stanczuk came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Vestergaard FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bert Stanczuk couldn't finish the play. In the 87th match minute, Vestergaard FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silas Borau to maneuver through the defense. 90 minutes had been played when some careless play by Vestergaard FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ulrik Prichakit was slow to take the kick. During this time Gejlbjærg FV's players had a chance to rest. Sigurt Darling tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Ulrik Skærbak. An unnecessary self made goal, 3-0 in the 90th minute. Ricky Tveede made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bert Stanczuk in the 96th minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Gejlbjærg FV fans cheered their team off the field, for while Vestergaard FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
