Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Hatting's Thorvald Hasseltoft started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience thought a goal was coming when Peter Saxing got free with Melkior Hylle in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 12 minutes, Anthon Skelton mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hatting and the Haar SIK players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 14th minute, Mikki Hundie hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In a very dangerous position, a player in Haar SIK fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 19th minute. Penalty! When Thorvald Hasseltoft came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Hatting fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Thorvald Hasseltoft couldn't finish the play. Thorvald Hasseltoft sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thorvald Hasseltoft recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Haar SIK's Melkior Hylle got control of the ball when Peter Saxing tried to sneak it across the goal line. 40 minutes into the match, Hatting's goal looked a bit too open when Rainar Peilicke came free, but André Bressig reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Rainar Peilicke had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 46 minutes into the match, Haar SIK's goalkeeper Melkior Hylle had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Peter Saxing. Melkior Hylle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thorvald Hasseltoft, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rainar Peilicke to make the kick off. Melkior Hylle stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Peter Saxing's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. In the 59th minute, Rainar Peilicke got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Thorvald Hasseltoft had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Peter Saxing sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Haar SIK's Melkior Hylle played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thorvald Hasseltoft in the 90th minute of play. When Haar SIK's Edwardt Bowring in 93 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. André Bressig guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. In the 95th minute the ball was on its way in behind Haar SIK's goalkeeper Melkior Hylle, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Peter Saxing had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hatting's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
