In the 2nd minute of the match Oscar Steinbakk shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Herman Joensen showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The referee felt a red card was in order, 5 minutes into the game, when Lennert Sjøstrand put in a rough tackle. Werner Weile shot the penalty kick right outside the post. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gynter Brandenborg during the 11th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Kjæstrup booed when Hegningen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gynter Brandenborg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hegningen's Herman Joensen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Hegningen from getting a goal against them. In the 19th match minute, Hegningen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gynter Brandenborg to maneuver through the defense. In the 21st minute, Peter Rosmund ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Herman Joensen was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Peter Rosmund might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Herman Joensen. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Peter Rosmund ran back to his position shaking his head. Bernhardt Valkenstjerne made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Klas Barlev in the 26th minute of play. If John Baarsgaard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. John Baarsgaard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Bernhardt Valkenstjerne tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Peter Rosmund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Hegningen getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. John Baarsgaard hit a great ball. When Klas Barlev came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Hegningen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Klas Barlev couldn't finish the play. John Baarsgaard might have been able to make a better finish in the 43rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bernhardt Valkenstjerne. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. John Baarsgaard ran back to his position shaking his head. If John Baarsgaard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Peter Rosmund to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Hegningen booed when Kjæstrup was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jeppe Wennergaard didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 58th minute Klas Barlev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernhardt Valkenstjerne saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. John Baarsgaard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jeppe Wennergaard's late challenge caught a Hegningen's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jeppe Wennergaard helped the player get up and apologised. In the 62nd match minute, Kjæstrup was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jeppe Wennergaard to maneuver through the defense. Peter Rosmund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Herman Joensen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 70 minutes into the match, Kjæstrup's goalkeeper Bernhardt Valkenstjerne had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Klas Barlev. After some careless play in the Hegningen defense, Peter Rosmund kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Herman Joensen. The Hegningen fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Herman Joensen should have stopped the shot. Peter Rosmund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Herman Joensen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Herman Joensen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Peter Rosmund in the 86th minute of the match. 89 minutes into the match, Hegningen's Klas Barlev sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bernhardt Valkenstjerne narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 90 minutes into the match, John Baarsgaard notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Kjæstrup's Bernhardt Valkenstjerne. Bernhardt Valkenstjerne was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. John Baarsgaard might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bernhardt Valkenstjerne. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. John Baarsgaard ran back to his position shaking his head. Peter Rosmund recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
