The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, Jess Ryttels got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match clock showed 5 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Jess Ryttels sped through Skast FV's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Eyvin Gubbengaard. When the match had gone on for 9 minutes, Roald Solhart took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Gotfred Østerdal to make any attempt to save it. After a rather tough play, Skast FV's Ole Mesing got a free kick in the 12th minute. Skast FV's Eyvin Gubbengaard played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jess Ryttels in the 15th minute of play. Eyvin Gubbengaard showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julius Floris, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind Skast FV's goalkeeper Eyvin Gubbengaard, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Dalby's Eddi Eilvang got a free kick in the 31st minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Roald Solhart managed to get in a good position for a shot. Skast FV's supporters rose to their feet, but Roald Solhart was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gotfred Østerdal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dalby's Gotfred Østerdal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Dalby from getting a goal against them. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the match had gone on for 52 minutes, Julius Floris put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Eyvin Gubbengaard. Dalby's Gotfred Østerdal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oskar Kartiovaara in the 60th minute of play. Roald Solhart received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Gotfred Østerdal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dalby had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
