In the 25th minute, Nik Higert got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Leif Blume showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kay Brylle in the 28th minute of the match. After having played for 30 minutes, Nik Higert managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Strølille SIK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nik Higert was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nik Higert recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Villiam Villø had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 45 minutes into the match, Strølille SIK's goal looked a bit too open when Johan Loell came free, but Leif Blume reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Strølille SIK's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Moritz Dokkedahl in the 48th minute. The corner ended in Hassan Thurner almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Brønden's Vagnar Borghus did a great save. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nik Higert was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th minute, Nik Higert got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 56th minute, Nik Higert got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kay Brylle in the 59th minute of play forced Strølille SIK's goalkeeper Leif Blume to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 77 minutes Strølille SIK's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Terry Nerby who took care of the corner kick. Brønden's Terry Nerby was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Leif Blume in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 81st minute, Leif Lykkevig had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Johan Loell during the 81st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Nils Frankmar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vagnar Borghus having to interfere. Nik Higert recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 90th minute the ball was on its way in behind Brønden's goalkeeper Vagnar Borghus, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 90 played minutes Brønden got a freekick which was hit by Volmar Hageskov. 91 minutes into the match, Brønden's goal looked a bit too open when Nils Frankmar came free, but Vagnar Borghus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vagnar Borghus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nils Frankmar, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. After 95 played minutes Strølille SIK got a freekick which was hit by Alexander Tjørved. If Kay Brylle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 99th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. For all the effort they put into the match, the Brønden players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Strølille SIK.
