The supporters of Strølille SIK booed when Eskilstrup SIK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Timo Sauthoff didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Nils Frankmar came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Strølille SIK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nils Frankmar couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Nik Higert managed to get in a good position for a shot. Strølille SIK's supporters rose to their feet, but Nik Higert was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Elias Roll breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Leif Blume made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sylvester Schønau in the 23rd minute of play. Sylvester Schønau fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leif Blume having to interfere. Nik Higert's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Elias Roll read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. 30 minutes into the match, Strølille SIK's goal looked a bit too open when Sylvester Schønau came free, but Leif Blume reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Sylvester Schønau's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Leif Blume was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nik Higert was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Strølille SIK's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Kurd Baglioni fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. If Sylvester Schønau had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 56th minute, one of Strølille SIK:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Strølille SIK. Owe Chabert shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nik Higert in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Elias Roll prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 64 played minutes Eskilstrup SIK got a freekick which was hit by Timo Sauthoff. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nils Frankmar in the 77th minute of play forced Eskilstrup SIK's goalkeeper Elias Roll to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind Strølille SIK's goalkeeper Leif Blume, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Chris Alberts managed to get in a good position for a shot. Eskilstrup SIK's Elias Roll played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nils Frankmar in the 89th minute of play. In the 93rd minute, Svenaage Besser hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Strølille SIK's Moritz Dokkedahl got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
