Ditlef Harbod tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Rikardt Tjerring had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ditlef Harbod took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rikardt Tjerring, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Torkild Stromgren managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ulstrup's supporters rose to their feet, but Torkild Stromgren was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Therkel Garkier breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Torkild Stromgrens short, quick shot in the 23rdth minute got Therkel Garkier to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Torkild Stromgren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Therkel Garkier having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Børge Halvas in the 28th minute of play forced Skovsgaarde's goalkeeper Therkel Garkier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Therkel Garkier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Børge Halvas in the 30th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Ulstrup's Godtfred Halsteen got a free kick in the 33rd minute. In the 36th minute Skovsgaarde were awarded a corner. Jørgen Brensholm went to the cornerflag to take it. Skovsgaarde's Jørgen Brensholm was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ditlef Harbod in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After having played for 38 minutes, Ricki Ødemark managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Skovsgaarde's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ricki Ødemark was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind Skovsgaarde's goalkeeper Therkel Garkier, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 74th minute, Rikardt Tjerring ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ditlef Harbod was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. The supporters of Skovsgaarde booed when Ulstrup was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Josef Jøros didn't get a good kick on the ball.
