Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Skodborg's Gustaf Stillinger in the 11th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Frank Elmvang was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Ejsing FC through an amazing save. Karim Bakkedal hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Lavritz Svanbo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Detlev Avnborg's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. When Esben Neuschild fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Skodborg's protests and gave Esben Neuschild a yellow card for diving instead. Ejsing FC's Detlev Avnborg got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eric Podebusk in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lavritz Svanbo saved Skodborg from getting behind. In the 22nd minute, Eric Podebusk ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lavritz Svanbo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Skodborg's Esben Neuschild got his second yellow card of the match in the 32nd minute. The referee ordered Esben Neuschild off the ground. In the 33rd match minute, Skodborg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Esben Neuschild to maneuver through the defense. Detlev Avnborg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 55th minute Detlev Avnborg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lavritz Svanbo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 59 minutes into the game, David Ulholt was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. In a very dangerous position, a player in Skodborg fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 61st minute. Penalty! 74 minutes into the match, Ejsing FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gynter Angersbak came free, but Frank Elmvang reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Ejsing FC's zone, Gynter Angersbak stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Frank Elmvang came out of the goal and Gynter Angersbak tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Karim Bakkedal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frank Elmvang having to interfere. 79 minutes into the game, Ewald Aarose was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ejsing FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Skodborg the free kick. The supporters of Skodborg booed when Ejsing FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ewald Aarose didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lavritz Svanbo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Detlev Avnborg in the 84th minute of play. When Eric Podebusk came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Ejsing FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eric Podebusk couldn't finish the play. Detlev Avnborg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Lavritz Svanbo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lavritz Svanbo made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Eric Podebusk sent off a good shot on target. Karim Bakkedal kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Skodborg's Lavritz Svanbo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Skodborg from getting a goal against them. If Gynter Angersbak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Gustaf Stillinger managed to get in a good position for a shot. Skodborg's supporters rose to their feet, but Gustaf Stillinger was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Frank Elmvang breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Ejsing FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
