Magnus Tonø didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eric Podebusk went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ejsing FC's goalkeeper Frank Elmvang, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Wilhelm Asti recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gønderup FC's Magnus Tonø played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Detlev Avnborg in the 20th minute of play. Wilhelm Asti recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eric Podebusk struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Magnus Tonø didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ejsing FC. Detlev Avnborg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 38th minute, Eric Podebusk got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Eric Podebusk recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

Frank Elmvang made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Miki Borrefjæll sent off a good shot on target. Detlev Avnborg might have been able to make a better finish in the 71st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Magnus Tonø. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Detlev Avnborg ran back to his position shaking his head. Eric Podebusk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Eric Podebusk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wilhelm Asti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Wilhelm Asti had several of the Ejsing FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 80 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-1 score and a disappointed Frank Elmvang as he didn't even see the shot coming. Miki Borrefjæll received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Ejsing FC's Frank Elmvang proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Ejsing FC from getting a goal against them. In the 96th match minute, Ejsing FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Holger Mølledal to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Ejsing FC's zone, Wilhelm Asti stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Frank Elmvang came out of the goal and Wilhelm Asti tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Gønderup FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Gønderup FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
