The supporters of Svindborg SIK booed when Havnskov was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valdemar Lauberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sune Hulthins in the 28th minute of play forced Havnskov's goalkeeper Jokum Søltoft to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 32nd minute, Sune Hulthins left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Svindborg SIK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. If Frederik Reklov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jokum Søltoft came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Svindborg SIK's Frederik Reklov. But to his dismay, Frederik Reklov quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Sune Hulthins sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Havnskov's Jokum Søltoft played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frederik Reklov in the 43rd minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sune Hulthins was the one to do the kick off. With a little luck, Havnskov's Jokum Søltoft got control of the ball when Frederik Reklov tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sune Hulthins sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 83rd minute, Thorstein Mikmak left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Havnskov fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. After a rather tough play, Svindborg SIK's Emmanuel Krabat got a free kick in the 86th minute. Frederik Reklov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Jokum Søltoft tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 96th minute, Frederik Reklov got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Svindborg SIK's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
