In the 4th minute Daniel Kandil shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ken Wingaard saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ronnie Heartland during the 6th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ronnie Heartland kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. When Bengt Sperrild fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sødring FV's protests and gave Bengt Sperrild a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Eskilstrup FC booed when Sødring FV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bengt Sperrild didn't get a good kick on the ball. Henry Rix acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 11th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Matthias Domini. After some careless play in the Eskilstrup FC defense, Daniel Kandil kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ken Wingaard. The Eskilstrup FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ken Wingaard should have stopped the shot. Ken Wingaard showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sigvart Soufi in the 17th minute of the match. In the 25th minute, Bastian Dyrvig made a precise shot to the right of Ken Wingaard. Eskilstrup FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Ken Wingaard took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bastian Dyrvig, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sødring FV's Daniel Kandil got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 31 minutes of play, Sødring FV's Bastian Dyrvig made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ken Wingaard was left in no man's land by his defense there! 34 minutes into the match, Eskilstrup FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bastian Dyrvig came free, but Ken Wingaard reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bastian Dyrvig sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sødring FV's Henry Rix proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save Sødring FV from getting a goal against them. Ken Wingaard made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Kandil in the 45th minute of play. Lucas Hegnsvad's late challenge caught a Sødring FV's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lucas Hegnsvad helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Eskilstrup FC's Lucas Hegnsvad got a free kick in the 46th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eddy Clainsen stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Wagn Bøvling had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eskilstrup FC's Ken Wingaard played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Kandil in the 67th minute of play. 68 minutes into the match, Sødring FV's Bastian Dyrvig sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ken Wingaard narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Henry Rix came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Eskilstrup FC's Jarl Hummelgaard. But to his dismay, Jarl Hummelgaard quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Jarl Hummelgaard charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jarl Hummelgaard the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 78 played minutes Eskilstrup FC got a freekick which was hit by Jarl Hummelgaard. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eddy Clainsen in the 80th minute of play forced Sødring FV's goalkeeper Henry Rix to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Bastian Dyrvig had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Diego Lupvig hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Sødring FV had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
