Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Povl Esbjerg started the match with the kick off. Mosebølle FC's Kristofer Sparsø got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kristofer Sparsø fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benjamin Højlev having to interfere. After 10 played minutes Rode got a freekick which was hit by Axel Armstrong. Arvid Morre received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Adam Østerskov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 20 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Rode's Rudi Strønæs fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Palle Gydsbæk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Benjamin Højlev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kristofer Sparsø, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. 27 minutes into the game, Kristofer Sparsø was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mosebølle FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rode the free kick. After 27 played minutes Mosebølle FC got a freekick which was hit by Kristofer Sparsø. Arvid Morre sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Denis Engelhardt fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rode's protests and gave Denis Engelhardt a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Rode's Denis Engelhardt got a free kick in the 38th minute. After 41 minutes Rode's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ejvind Strøby who took care of the corner kick. Kristofer Sparsø fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benjamin Højlev having to interfere. After having played for 47 minutes, Palle Gydsbæk managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mosebølle FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Palle Gydsbæk was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kristofer Sparsø to strike the kick off in the second half. Kristofer Sparsø recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 56 played minutes Rode got a freekick which was hit by Fredrik Jernholm. 60 minutes into the match, Rode's Arvid Morre sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Adam Østerskov narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Adam Østerskov made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Arvid Morre sent off a good shot on target. If Povl Esbjerg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Palle Gydsbæk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 70 minutes into the match, Rode's goal looked a bit too open when Kristofer Sparsø came free, but Benjamin Højlev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 76 minutes, Povl Esbjerg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rode's supporters crossed their fingers, but Povl Esbjerg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ejvind Strøby kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kristofer Sparsø in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benjamin Højlev prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Palle Gydsbæk recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kristofer Sparsø in the 90th minute of play forced Rode's goalkeeper Benjamin Højlev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Benjamin Højlev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kristofer Sparsø, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Kristofer Sparsø had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
