Askild Esø sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 4 minutes, Harold Høster took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Lennert Schøtt to make any attempt to save it. Lennert Schøtt stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mark Tjelding's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. Askild Esø received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Lennert Schøtt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sønderskov FC's goalkeeper Michael Weisdal, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Lennert Schøtt made an important save on a dangerous shot by Askild Esø in the 18th minute. When the match had gone on for 25 minutes, Anton Suusgaard put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Michael Weisdal. After having played for 32 minutes, Anton Suusgaard managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Østerby's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anton Suusgaard was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Askild Esø fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lennert Schøtt having to interfere. 40 minutes into the match, Østerby's goal looked a bit too open when Harold Høster came free, but Lennert Schøtt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 44th minute Harold Høster shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lennert Schøtt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Harold Høster received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Lennert Schøtt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Michael Weisdal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Østerby. Anton Suusgaard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michael Weisdal having to interfere. 55 minutes into the game, Claus Neel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Østerby's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sønderskov FC the free kick. A collision led to Østerby getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Claus Neel hit a great ball. After 57 played minutes Sønderskov FC got a freekick which was hit by Rudolf Jondal. Jørgen Hellmers struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Michael Weisdal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Østerby. 68 minutes into the match, Østerby's Jørgen Hellmers sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Michael Weisdal narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Harold Høster took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lennert Schøtt. Lennert Schøtt dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. 76 minutes into the game, Jonathan Pejl was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sønderskov FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Østerby the free kick. 78 minutes into the match, Sønderskov FC's goal looked a bit too open when Povl Kelster came free, but Michael Weisdal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Harold Høster received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Lennert Schøtt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Michael Weisdal made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Anton Suusgaard sent off a good shot on target. In the 88th match minute, Sønderskov FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mark Tjelding to maneuver through the defense. Anton Suusgaard could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Michael Weisdal made a huge save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mark Tjelding during the 90th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Sønderskov FC's Mark Tjelding got a free kick in the 90th minute. Askild Esø sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mark Tjelding recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
