Clavs Bensdal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rudolf Sau in the 3rd minute of the match. George Werber in the 6thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Bjørn Lindknud, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The supporters of Dukkerup booed when Handrup FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Waldemar Pondal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bjørn Lindknud stood somewhat misplaced when Edvard Budde came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 13 minute. In the 15th minute, Svenning Marquardt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alex Elsdorf in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Clavs Bensdal prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Dukkerup's Clavs Bensdal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rudolf Sau in the 18th minute of play. Alex Elsdorf received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Clavs Bensdal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alex Elsdorf sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 31 minutes into the match, Dukkerup's goal looked a bit too open when Alex Elsdorf came free, but Clavs Bensdal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alex Elsdorf took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Clavs Bensdal. Clavs Bensdal dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Waldemar Pondal during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Bjørn Lindknud stood somewhat misplaced when George Werber came free in front of goal and shot 2-2 to the left of him in the 38 minute. When George Werber came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Dukkerup fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that George Werber couldn't finish the play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

George Werber fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bjørn Lindknud having to interfere. Edvard Budde struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Bjørn Lindknud didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dukkerup. Bjørn Lindknud made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from George Werber in the 59th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rudolf Sau got free with Clavs Bensdal in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Clavs Bensdal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alex Elsdorf, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute.
