Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Hasan Lestorf got the match started through his kick off. Abraham Kirkelund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hasan Lestorf in the 5th minute of the match. Abraham Kirkelund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tavs Laxby in the 8th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Lyngby's zone, Visti Bobek stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Steffen Rohmann came out of the goal and Visti Bobek tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jari Fristed received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Steffen Rohmann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 15 minutes into the match, Jari Fristed dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Steffen Rohmann, 1-0. The Lyngby fans' excitement grew in the 20th match minute when Lyngby's Kim Lyhm looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Abraham Kirkelund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hasan Lestorf, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. If Jari Fristed had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 31st match minute, Lyngby was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kim Lyhm to maneuver through the defense. Steffen Rohmann made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Visti Bobek sent off a good shot on target. In the 36th minute, Kim Lyhm hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Visti Bobek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hasan Lestorf in the 43rd minute of play forced Helletofte's goalkeeper Abraham Kirkelund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jari Fristed succeeded in the game's 46th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jari Fristed made a kick off. Abraham Kirkelund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hasan Lestorf, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. In the 60th minute of the match Joseph Søfren shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Steffen Rohmann showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Visti Bobek fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Steffen Rohmann having to interfere. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hasan Lestorf couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Tavs Laxby managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lyngby's supporters rose to their feet, but Tavs Laxby was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Abraham Kirkelund breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Steffen Rohmann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jari Fristed in the 97th minute of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Lyngby players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Helletofte.
