Ricard Nedergård breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Svend Vidstid charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Svend Vidstid the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Svend Vidstid kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. If Buster Lys had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Absalon Dallov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Ricard Nedergård tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 17 minutes, Absalon Dallov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mølby SIK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Absalon Dallov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 19 played minutes Haltenæs got a freekick which was hit by Svend Vidstid. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Absalon Dallov in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ricard Nedergård prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 24 minutes into the game, Sigismund Lawerentz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Haltenæs's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mølby SIK the free kick. A collision led to Haltenæs getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Sigismund Lawerentz hit a great ball. After having played for 26 minutes, Buster Lys managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mølby SIK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Buster Lys was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ricard Nedergård made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Buster Lys in the 27th minute of play. After 32 played minutes Mølby SIK got a freekick which was hit by Ken Shamir. After 35 played minutes Mølby SIK got a freekick which was hit by Miklos Sjømann. With a little luck, Mølby SIK's Jan Pleimert got control of the ball when Erhardt Gasbjerg tried to sneak it across the goal line. Erhardt Gasbjerg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Jan Pleimert tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Absalon Dallov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricard Nedergård having to interfere. Buster Lys sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Buster Lys stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The Mølby SIK fans' excitement grew in the 53rd match minute when Mølby SIK's Absalon Dallov looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Absalon Dallov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricard Nedergård having to interfere. After 58 played minutes Haltenæs got a freekick which was hit by Sigismund Lawerentz. Mølby SIK's Ken Shamir shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 59th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Ricard Nedergård but with some difficulty. If Buster Lys had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Erhardt Gasbjerg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of Mølby SIK booed when Haltenæs was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sigismund Lawerentz didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 74th minute, Erhardt Gasbjerg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Erhardt Gasbjerg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Miklos Sjømann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ricard Nedergård showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Buster Lys, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Haltenæs's Erhardt Gasbjerg got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sigismund Lawerentz kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Mølby SIK eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
