An unexpectedly hard shot by Svend Vidstid in the 4th minute of play forced Sparrevogn FC's goalkeeper Jann Breving to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 7 minutes into the game, one of Haltenæs:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 17th minute, Stig Hervard hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Oskar Sønæs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Oskar Sønæs struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Ricard Nedergård didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sparrevogn FC. Haltenæs's Ricard Nedergård proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Haltenæs from getting a goal against them. Svenning Frelling recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Sparrevogn FC getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Erhardt Udesen hit a great ball. If Svenning Frelling had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 34 minutes into the match, Erhardt Gasbjerg notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Sparrevogn FC's Jann Breving. Jann Breving was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Erhardt Gasbjerg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Svend Vidstid stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ricard Nedergård showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oskar Sønæs in the 62nd minute of the match. Erhardt Gasbjerg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jann Breving was a little too slow when Svend Vidstid got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 66th minute. The score was now 2-2. Oskar Sønæs received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Ricard Nedergård tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Sparrevogn FC getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Kristofer Adelborg hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Sparrevogn FC's Gordon Elleriis got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Svend Vidstid blasted a shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jann Breving having to make a save. In the 90th match minute, Haltenæs was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erhardt Gasbjerg to maneuver through the defense. Piotr Anderberg lost his temper 93 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Sparrevogn FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 93rd minute. Penalty! The Haltenæs supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Haltenæs would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
