To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tavs Ramlev hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Ulf Baarsøe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Karsvang in the 44th minute of play. If Luis Karsvang had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ulf Baarsøe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mikael Picker in the 47th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.
