In the 13th minute, Flemming Kaalhøj ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Igor Bradsted was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Igor Bradsted made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Flemming Kaalhøj in the 17th minute of play. Igor Bradsted stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Flemming Kaalhøj's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Magnus Terney in the 26th minute of play forced Esrum AC's goalkeeper Igor Bradsted to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Igor Bradsted showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Flemming Kaalhøj, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Gregor Holder sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 30 minutes, Flemming Kaalhøj managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Birkmose SIK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Flemming Kaalhøj was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 31st minute, Lars Grensø hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 34th minute, Teddy Viktrup got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Teddy Viktrup fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oswald Flanding having to interfere. In the 37th play minute Teddy Viktrup came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Oswald Flanding. 1-2. Igor Bradsted showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gregor Holder in the 43rd minute of the match. In the 44th minute, Sonni Snitgaard hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Teddy Viktrup to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Sonni Snitgaard was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Esrum AC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Birkmose SIK the free kick. A very good chance. 57 minutes into the match, Esrum AC's goal looked a bit too open when Flemming Kaalhøj came free, but Igor Bradsted reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Teddy Viktrup had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Esrum AC's Igor Bradsted played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Flemming Kaalhøj in the 91st minute of play. Igor Bradsted made a fantastic save in the 97th minute, when Gregor Holder sent off a good shot on target. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Birkmose SIK eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
