Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Jørg Delmont got the match started through his kick off. Elmar Dyssov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Flemming Kaalhøj, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. 5 minutes into the game, Tiæreby's Stephen Makowski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Oswald Flanding made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Tiæreby's zone, Flemming Kaalhøj stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Elmar Dyssov came out of the goal and Flemming Kaalhøj tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Flemming Kaalhøj received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Elmar Dyssov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Oswald Flanding took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jørg Delmont, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Elmar Dyssov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Flemming Kaalhøj in the 29th minute of play. Flemming Kaalhøj sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jørg Delmont fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oswald Flanding having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Jørg Delmont managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tiæreby's supporters rose to their feet, but Jørg Delmont was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Oswald Flanding breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Gregor Holder had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Flemming Kaalhøj to strike the kick off in the second half. Tiæreby's Elmar Dyssov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gregor Holder in the 52nd minute of play. After having played for 55 minutes, Flemming Kaalhøj managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Birkmose SIK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Flemming Kaalhøj was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Flemming Kaalhøj in the 58th minute of play forced Tiæreby's goalkeeper Elmar Dyssov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Flemming Kaalhøj sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Flemming Kaalhøj struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Elmar Dyssov didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Birkmose SIK. In the 81st minute, Arvid Huffeldt sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Birkmose SIK's Oswald Flanding didn't even have to move. 87 minutes into the match, Birkmose SIK's goal looked a bit too open when Jørg Delmont came free, but Oswald Flanding reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
