Oswald Flanding didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ask. Oswald Flanding showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nikki Hylberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Kjeld Karlskov struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Oswald Flanding didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ask. The audience was convinced that Kjeld Karlskov's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Oswald Flanding was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. In the 28th minute, Mario Ambroth hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 29thth minute of the game Kjeld Karlskov who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Birkmose SIK's Oswald Flanding was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the last second Povl Tokeland throw himself and got hold of the ball when Flemming Kaalhøj in the 31stth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. 35 minutes into the match, Ask's goalkeeper Povl Tokeland had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gregor Holder. In the 39th minute, Gregor Holder ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Povl Tokeland was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Birkmose SIK's Mario Ambroth got his second yellow card of the match in the 44th minute. The referee ordered Mario Ambroth off the ground. After 45 played minutes Birkmose SIK got a freekick which was hit by Mario Ambroth. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Kjeld Karlskov made the kick off in the second half. Ask's Nikki Hylberg got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jonny Hellisdal kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Ask's zone, Gregor Holder stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Povl Tokeland came out of the goal and Gregor Holder tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Oswald Flanding made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kjeld Karlskov in the 66th minute of play. In the 69th minute, Kjeld Karlskov got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kjeld Karlskov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Oswald Flanding tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Birkmose SIK's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Kjeld Karlskov 77 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-1. The supporters of Birkmose SIK booed when Ask was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicolai Smith didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jonny Hellisdal during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 81st minute, Jonny Hellisdal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Povl Tokeland took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gregor Holder, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 95th minute, Nikki Hylberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
